General Terms and Conditions of Sale

You have just connected to the www.univbook.ma website of the company Sochepress.

You must carefully read the provisions that follow, as they constitute a contract establishing the general terms and conditions for products and services from the Company's electronic catalog (or store).

The "click" you execute after completing your order form constitutes the validation of your order and will be deemed an irrevocable acceptance of these general terms and conditions. Consequently, you may only order products or services if you accept the conditions set out below.

1- Preamble:

The following general terms and conditions of sale govern all transactions established on the website www.univbook.ma. Any order placed on this site implies the client's unconditional and irrevocable acceptance of these conditions.

2- Purpose:

This contract is a distance contract which aims to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of Univbook company products via the Internet, through the secure online payment platform of the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (Interbank Electronic Banking Center).

www.univbook.ma is a service and a trademark registered by Sochepress.

3- Definitions:

In the remainder of this contract, each of the expressions mentioned above will be understood within the meaning of its definition, namely:

"Distance contract": any contract concerning goods or services between the Company Univbook and a Consumer within the framework of a distance selling or service provision system organized by the Company Univbook which, for this contract, exclusively uses the Internet network until the conclusion of the contract, including the conclusion of the contract itself. "Consumer": any natural person who, in this contract, acts for purposes that do not fall within the scope of their professional activity. "Order form": document that indicates the characteristics of the Products ordered by the Consumer and which must be signed by them via a "double click" to bind them. "Order": act by which the Consumer commits to buying Products and the Company Univbook commits to delivering them.

4- Product:

All products present in the catalog are marketed until stocks are exhausted. The company Univbook reserves the right to remove an item from the catalog without notice. It can in no case be held liable to compensate or cancel an order following the impossibility of using the purchased product for reasons of incompatibility with hardware already owned by the buyer.

5- Placing an order:

After finding the product(s) you are interested in, click on the "order" button; the product is then added to your order form.
You can modify your order form at any time and return to the catalog by pressing "continue shopping".
When you have finished your purchases, validate your order by clicking on the "pay" order button.
In case of an error on your part when entering information on the order form, we advise you to send us a cancellation request by e-mail within 24 hours. After cancellation of the order by www.univbook.ma, you can order again.

6- Price:

The prices mentioned in the catalog are indicated in Moroccan dirhams excluding tax, are valid at the time of their consultation by the client, and are those in force at the time of the order. VAT is calculated on the order form according to the rate applicable on the day of the order. The order form and transactions are made in Moroccan dirhams. Any change in the rate will be automatically reflected in the price of the products.

7- Execution of the order:

The order will be executed no later than 7 days from the day following the day the Consumer placed their order. In case of unavailability of the ordered Product, the Consumer will be informed as soon as possible and will have the possibility to cancel their order. They will then have the choice to request either the refund of sums paid within thirty days at the latest from their payment, or the exchange of the Product.

8- Delivery:

Delivery is not provided by Univbook. The client will collect their merchandise at the delivery address indicated on their Order form. The Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Consumer on the Order form. The Consumer is required to check the merchandise upon delivery and to report damage caused to the carrier on the delivery slip as well as to the Company Univbook within one day. The Consumer may, upon request, obtain the sending of an invoice to the delivery address by validating the option provided for this purpose on the Order form.

How much does delivery cost?

Transport costs are borne by the buyer,
- In Morocco and abroad, they are based on registered mail rates.
- Our rates are inclusive of all taxes and are calculated based on the weight of the products.
- The cost of transport for your delivery is indicated on your invoice.
- It decreases with the quantity ordered. It is best to consolidate your orders.
What are the delivery times?
After receipt of your payment, your order is shipped within 48 hours, subject to stock availability.
In Morocco and abroad, items will be sent to you by registered post.
Any delays shall not give rise to damages, cancellation of the order, or refusal to accept delivery.

9- Payment method:

To pay for your order, you choose the payment method from those offered by www.univbook.ma on the payment page. In this case, the submission of the transaction for debiting your account is carried out on the day following the date of delivery confirmation. Your online payments are secured by the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI), which offers a fully secure payment service. The Consumer guarantees to the Company Univbook that they have the necessary authorizations to use the payment method chosen by them when validating the Order form. In case of payment by credit card, the provisions relating to the fraudulent use of the payment method provided for in the agreements concluded between the Consumer and the card issuer, and between the Company Univbook and its banking institution, apply.

10- Protection of personal data:

The information requested from you is necessary for the processing of your order and is treated confidentially. You have a right of rectification regarding the data concerning you. In the context of its activities, Univbook processes data relating to its clients in accordance with Law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. The collection of this personal data is carried out for the purposes of "client management". All personal data transmitted, particularly through order forms, will be processed by Univbook in a fair and lawful manner, and in compliance with the rights of Users. All requested information deemed mandatory is necessary for the processing of orders for Services. Univbook will send its offers or those of its commercial partners only to Users who have given their clear and explicit consent, either at the time of creating their client account or at the time of their order. Any User using the Services of Univbook has the right to exercise a right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation of processing, portability, and opposition to the processing of their personal data by sending a request to service-client@univbook.ma. This processing has been authorized by the CNDP under number A-GC-305/2021. Your data is processed abroad for hosting purposes by the company AWS based in France. The transfer of data is authorized by the CNDP under number T-HB-617/2024.

11- Right of withdrawal:

Because you have the right to make a mistake, Univbook puts at your disposal the "Satisfied or Refunded" formula; this formula gives you the possibility to return an item ordered by mistake or that does not give you satisfaction, within a period of 7 days from delivery, provided that it is in its original packaging and in perfect condition. The refund is made in the form of a credit note valid for 6 months from its date of issuance. After this period, the credit note will no longer be usable.

NB: Excluded from the right of withdrawal and the "Satisfied or Refunded" formula are papers, cartridges, toners, products manufactured or ordered specifically, as well as all personalized items.

12- Proof of transactions paid by credit card:

The data recorded by the CMI on the online payment platform on behalf of www.univbook.ma constitute proof of commercial transactions concluded between you and the company Univbook.

13- Force majeure:

Univbook is only bound to fulfill its obligations insofar as no event of force majeure hinders them.
